I created a unique connect client debian package and installed it on my Ubuntu machine. The Access dashboard sees the device and sees the client connect. When I connect (from my Windows machine) I just get a blank screen in the connect window. The client is online, awake and connected to the internet.When you try to download and run the Screen Connect Client you get a message prompting you to download it from the Microsoft store, and you aren't able to run the connection software. If you are receiving the following popup when you download the screen connect app. ConnectWiseControl.Client.exe And you aren't able to get past this screen.It connects to something like x.screenconnect.com. Find out the host it’s connecting to, then just put a dummy entry into your hosts file pointing to 127.0.0.1. Screen connect will remain installed but fail to ever connect.
