Mossberg 500 vs benelli nova.

I am looking for a new 12ga pump and right now i have my eyes set on either a Benelli Nova or Mossberg 500. I picked a new Benelli SuperNova a nd really like it; the only negatives on the Nova are less capacity and no lug for the bayonet. I do like the Nova having an AR style stock as I like having a PG on my stock. I would like to add a light to one of these. My question is which SG the 590 or SuperNova considered better in a pure HD role.

To top that of I found it at a great price of $329. On the other hand I have always been told that the more expensive Benelli is very reliable. The same goes for Remington although the 870 express is the cheapest of all options. I plan to go duck and pheasant hunting with the shotgun. If anyone can please help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Benelli Nova vs. Moss 500 series vs Remi 870. Benelli has a super smooth action and feels lighter / more agile. Mossberg has a smooth enough action, but you can feel the parts moving its more clunky, but it feels like it could take more punishment. Maybe thicker metal parts or a heavier stock contribute to this not sure.

I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid. The Benelli is a GREAT gun, and cost me about what I paid for both the Mossy's combined. If your budget is small, go with the Mossy's, they'll do the job reliably.

The 590A1 remedied this issue. 2) The ejector is screwed in and is easily replaced, whereas the 870 ejector is riveted in and is a PITA to replace. 3) Dual extractors for redundancy and reliability, although I don't really hear a lot about 870 extractors breaking.Winchester = fast and light.
